Tor Poznań season finale: who will seal the 2025 BaTCC crowns?

The Baltic Touring Car Championship reaches its final weekend at Tor Poznań together with our friends WSMP. Titles will be decided, podium rivalries resolved and several classes arrive with the championship still open. While some champions of 2025 are already known, the intrigue still remains for many as all points from the all season races count. Those who cant attend, follow us Live YouTube for the Livestream

BMW 325 Cup — the headline battle

The BMW 325 Cup has been the season’s headline duel heading into Poznań. The top three in the overall standings heading to the finale are: Estonian, Ragnar Simulānd  (492 pts), Latvian Matīss Malinovskis (410 pts) . Simulānd’s run of consistency has given him the edge, but Poznań can still swing the title as 12o points are on the table for the two crucial races on Saturday morning. Former season leader Aurimas Mistautas can still snatch P2 in the standings, or even drop down the order more as Darius Gaidulionis, Karol Wyka, Janis Horeliks, Karl Lang still have theoretical yet possible chances for third.

A proper battle awaits for the Masters title – Gaidulionis leads with 496 points, but Horeliks is just 24, with Wyka 16 points further points behind. Anything can happen here and may the best man win! In Rookie Laimonas Starkevicius had a tough start of the season but has gradually improved and has basically the title in his hands with 488 points compared to 398 of Saulius Jonaitis. As in Gentlemen Olivier Villeneuve has a good gap over Normunds Dobums, but the points are still not enough to win the title without a fight!

BMW Turbo Cup

How the inaugural BMW Turbo Cup season started, thats the way it continues, there have been no races with clear favorites and predictable winners. Six different drivers have won a race and its always tight for the lead and the podium. Artjoms Koclamazasvili is leading the standings with 182 points, 22 points advantage over Algirdas Gelzinis and 32 advantage over  Mantas Jasiulevicius, with 50 points still available, its not time for predictions.

BGT PRO / BGT AM / BGT AM+

Gediminas Baksys and his fantastic Nissan 180SX are the champion combo for 2025 in BGT PRO class, but that doesnt stop him from coming to Poznan and battle again Baltic competitors and the Polish alike as the races will be mixed together with WSMP. Its different in BGT AM+ where its far from over, we have witnessed season long drama and battle between Egidijus Gelunas and Paulius Urbonavicius, both separated by just 22 points, with 3 races, 75 points are up for grabs and may the best win. But, hey dont count our Romet Reisin – while he is trailing 38 points, he has won all 5 races he has taken part in! BGT AM boss is Rokas Kvedaras but not yet the champion – Aivaras Remeika still has options to take the crown!

Baltic Touring Cars

In BTC1 we have had a season long duel between Hondas, Tomas Buskevicius vs Valdis Kikusts, Civic vs Integra, Buskevicius has had a fantastic season and drives and he is already the 2025 champion, but Kikusts is still chasing his first round victory of the season and has to defend as theoretically his P2 can be snatched. Real drama awaits for the P3, Ricards Alekss Svaglis holds the third with 111 points, 4 more than Lelde Jukama and 15 more than 2024 champion Maris Bulans. Three races left..

Kairo Kallas has dominated and crushed the competition in BTC2, taking 11 wins out of 11 races, winning in dry, wet, mixed conditions, in Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia, and he has a clear aim – to make it 13 out of 13. Kristupas Sablinskas and Orestas Burgaila will try to ruin the party, at the same time battling out P2 between themselves in the standings.

BTC3 class had a good attendance compared to recent years with 14 different competitors across the season so far. Arturas Kliobavicius has proven he is the fastest and he already is the 2025 champion, but he has decided to enjoy and have a good time racing in Poznan. Atis Veismanis holds comfortable second place while Tomas Jatkevicius is third with Arvis Putnins in fourth.

With only Round 6 left in the 2025 Nankang 2h Endurance Academy, every pitstop, driver change and safety-car shuffle carries championship weight. Here’s a publish-ready continuation focused on the endurance series — starting with the BMW 325 CUP and running through the team standings, the key storylines and what will decide the remaining titles.

Hankook Endurance challenge

With five rounds complete and only the finale remaining, the Hankook Endurance Challenge standings have begun to take shape. Below is a class-by-class rundown — overall leaders first, then BGT AM, BGT AM+ and BGT PRO — showing the five rounds’ breakdown and what each team must do at the finale.

Baltic Karting Academy have established a clear lead on consistent scoring across all five rounds and thus taking the champions title for the season. Its far from it for P2 where Reimpex by GSR team will have to hold strong to battle the Porsche Latvia Racing Team which is close behind. Baltic Karting Academy also leads the BGT AM comfortably thanks to five wins out of five races! As in the overall standings, also in the class we await duel between Reimpex by GSR and Porsche Latvia Racing Team. BGT PRO two teams are awaited – Flash Racing and ES AMG Customer racing, who will try to battle out the Poles in WSMP classification!

Nankang 2h Endurance Academy — one round to go!

BMW 325 CUP — four points separate the top two

The team duel in the endurance BMW 325 CUP is razor-tight. The standings heading into the final round show:

  • RS Motorsport Jurmala — 240 pts (rounds: 60 / 0 / 60 / 60 / 60 — Total 240).

  • Daugavins Racing — 216 pts (42 / 32 / 50 / 50 / 42 — Total 216).

  • Degviela Motorsport — 116 pts (0 / 42 / 42 / 0 / 32 — Total 116)

With a 24-point margin at the top, RS Motorsport Jurmala hold the advantage — but the 2-hour format rewards flawless pit execution and traffic management more than raw one-lap speed. Daugavins Racing are close enough that a mistake, a slow tyre stop or a poorly timed safety car could overturn the order at Round 6.

BMW Turbo Cup — Rode Racing leads, Binny close behind

Endurance Turbo Cup standings (top three):

  • Rode Racing — 170 pts (60 / 0 / 50 — Total 170).

  • Binny Racing — 110 pts (0 / 50 / 60 — Total 110).

  • VipTuning Team — 60 pts (0 / 60 / 0 — Total 60). BaTCC

Rode Racing’s margin gives them breathing room, but Binny Racing’s consistency keeps the title alive.
