Inspirational “Stateta BRO Grand Prix” Saturday before Sunday fun!
“Stateta BRO Grand Prix” 1-ist day was filled with quite a list of unexpected elements!
One of them, for sure, the qualifying results and strong tension among participants. Just like it has to be: the first event of the season must come with drama!
Saturday was full of practices, qualifying sessions and scrutineering checkups. The first group of participants to find out their qualifying results were the GT card competing in “BGT AM”, “BGT PRO” and “BTC4” classes. And quite a surprise here: the fastest among all of them – 15th years old Tomas Rudokas with “Porsche”! His best laptime was 1:10.136.
After these guys the BTC1, BTC2, BTC3 participants showed up in a track, seeking for the best lap-times in their classes. In BTC3, Arturas Kliobavicius was the fastest among all of them, as Agnius Narbutas was the best guy in BTC2. Another LT guy Tomas Buskevicius was the fastest in BTC1, taking the best starting position for Sunday.
As always, eye-catching and attention gathering BMW 325 Cup series got all the eyes on the track…and surprise surprise! The pole is taken by Ragnar Simuland, also competing in “Rookie” group. Just right behind him – Janis Horeliks and Matiss Malinovskis with Aurimas Mištautas and Emilija Ulvydaite breathing right at their back. As for the debut class of BMW Turbo Cup, the bright and the most seen Artjoms Koclamazasvili was the fastest here.
However, it is obvious: Sunday is going to be full of action and all day full of activities. Nothing to miss here, starting from racing and moving to the drift car and motorcycle show in the track!
