NEWS FOR 2022!
1 Calendar and race in Finland
There is one minor change in the calendar – the race in Botniaring is rescheduled from June 17-19 to June 10-12. We had long discussions with Finnish side and we are happy to announce that this event will be held together with the RATA SM series, the Finnish championship. So it will be a really massive, entertaining and wonderful race, we call it – Transbaltic clash! As it means, some Finnish racers will join our classes and vice-versa. For example, the GT race will be together with Finnish GT in one grid. We have already made a provisional timetable and it will be two days full of racing, with tests on Thursday and official practises and Qualifying sessions on Friday. 2 Regulations, rules
The Sporting regulations for 2022 are in the reviewing process. The biggest changes are to BEC 6H: shorter stint times (from 70 to 50 min), clarified refuelling system, added Touring car overall standings (for 2l and 3l cars) and max 2 mechanics during pitstop. This mechanic rule also applies to the Nankang 2h. BaTCC sprint races: Revised Teams standings in BaTCC series and a special Team competition only for BMW 325 CUP class.
Technical regulations – TCR, BMW 325 CUP drafts are published. Others will follow soon, but with no major changes.
3 Registration for 2022 season
The registration for the new season is open https://batcc.eu/season-registration/ . The procedure is the same. We are making a 2022 Season Review, a book for the upcoming season with various information, interviews. Could be around 50 pages big and for distribution for teams, spectators, sponsors etc. And also in this book, there will be an entry list of all classes and teams. As it will be printed(and also an e-version) shortly before DeWALT GP, we ask for a timely registration for the season so all of you can be included there.
4 TCR
We have just signed a new contract with WSC for TCR promotional rights for the 2022 season. So the class will stay as an official TCR sprint and also endurance class but with more strict scrutineering and dedicated scrutineer for this purpose.And we have agreed that Mr Sami Oja from Finland will be our TCR Technical delegate for this season, his main priority will be following that the cars are according to the TCR Technical regulations and Bulletins, including that he is able to check the data from loggers and ECU right away in the track. He has already started to work. To cover his salary costs and the scrutineering kit expenses, the entry fee will be raised a bit for TCR class.
5 Test day
An official test day is scheduled on April 9 in Riga, Bikernieki from 12 to 18:00.Full service – timing, ambulance, rescue, marshalls, coffee etc. Price – 150 EUR per car.Registration to event – in email: Car, class, driver/team name.
If a need will occur the tests will be split in two groups FAST & Slower cars.
6 GALA Party

The same applies to the 2020 season Nankang 2h Endurance academy and BaTCC sprint racing(except TCR) . There was no BEC 6H championship in 2020 as only one event took place. Attached also is a XLS of all 2020&2021 champions and TOP3.And it means if you find yourself in the TOP3 you are welcome to the: GALA AWARDS 2020 & 2021Location: VEF palace of culture, Riga, Ropazu iela 2When? Friday, April 15th. Precise time will be announced later.According to the current Latvian Government rules – entry to the event is allowed only to the Vaccinated or recovered people(tests will not be allowed for entry), mask wearing upon entry. And the date is still provisional.Please, also send QR codes before the event to reduce crowding.
