NEZ CHAMPIONSHIP SEASON 2018 OPENING IN RIGA

The season opening of North European Zone Championship for Porsche GT3, V8 Thundercars, Legend Cars, V1600 and BMW Xtreme will take place Riga on May 11- 13. This will be also the Baltic Touring Car and Baltic Endurance Championship opening event.

After the very cold and dramatic weather conditions in 2017, Riga will welcome the opening event 2 weeks later comparing to the last year. Newertheless last year’s opening round became one of the largest touring car events that has taken place in Bikernieki racetrack since end on 80ties.

“We are honored to welcome the North European Zone opening event in Riga second year in a row.  Hopefully the weather conditions will be more enjoyable – both for participants and spectators,” said Jānis Ducmanis, the Head of Latvian Automobile Federation Touring Car comission.

The application for the event will open in February.
