YOUNG MARTINS SESKS TAKES THE KUMHO CHALLENGE S1600 CLASS SEASON VICTORY
17-year old Martins Sesks claimed his first circuit racing victory in his first season in Baltic Touring Car Championship. Martins Sesks won both racing rides in the final round on Sunday, October 9th.
In wet conditions M.Sesks managed to set the best lap time in the qualification but it was revoked after not driving into Park Ferme after the qualification. “As this is my first season in circuit racing I made a mistake and after the qualification didn’t go to park ferme. So I got the last starting position in the first race. The first race was interesting and full of action. I fulfilled the task who set my team before the final round – gathered the maximum points and finished the championship with the title,” after the finish said Mārtiņš Sesks.
“Season started unsuccessfuly – due to technical problems I didn’t finish both racing rides in the first event. Bu after that had a great season and now I’m champion,” happy is the young Latvian driver.
