ROTOMA RACING WINS BALTIC ENDURANCE FINAL ROUND IN RIGA

25 teams stood on the start grid in the final round in Riga. This was a new record in the Baltic 4H Endurance Championship. The final round in Bikernieki racetrack ended up with victory of Rotoma Racing team. It was not enough to win the season champion title who took RIMO team which was not participating in the final event. 

This time the biggest challenge for the teams was the changing weather conditions. Baltic 4H Endurance race began on wet track, but the path started to dry and the race ended on dry pavement.

The final round won Lithuanian „Rotoma Racing” (GT) team, who was leading the race most of the time. Team also was the fastest in GT class.  The second place took the team „4 RACE” (GT) which faced with various problems through the season, but the last round they finally showed excellent result, that allowed them to climb on podium second step overall and in GT class. Third place in the final round and first place in class took „Juta Bauer Rally Team” (A3000+).

Successfully the race started Latvian teams „Flash Racing” and „Zvaigzne Motorsport”. „Flash Racing” showed a convincing speed  in the qualification and started the race from the second position. Unfortunately, after about an hour, being in the first position, team crashed. Repairs took too much time, as a result team concluded in 5th place in „Diesel” class.

Good start experienced also the another Latvian team „Zvaigzne Motorsport”, who was hoping to fight for the season podium. However engine failed and team withdrew after a little more than half of the race.
