Ragnar Simuland – the new BaTCC BMW 325 CUP champion!
Simuland had to play safe to secure necesary points to seal the championship and the best way to do it is take pole position and drive off to the sunset and win the race 1 with the fastest lap, he did not plan to stop there win in race 2 aswell and fastest lap, dominating way to get his title! Aurimas Mistautas was close but could not do much about Simuland, and finished both races comfortably in second. The series vice leader before the round – Matiss Malinovskis, had a DNF in race 1 and lost out some crucial points and that was enough for Mistautas to clinch second position in overall standings with Malinovskis in third. Karol Wyka is fourth overall, followed by Darius Gaidulionis and Janis Horeliks.
Oh, what a drama those guys had for the Masters category title. The points in standings were really close before the round and every one of these three had good chances for the title – everything could happen on the track! Karol Wyka on his home track had to fight hard to keep his chances alive and he did the maximum, in great battles with Janis Horeliks in both races, he managed to get victories that was just enough to seal the title with 576 points.
