LITHUANIANS HAVE PRESENTED A UNIQUE PORSCHE TEAM

Last week in Vilnius Porsche centre there was presented a unique project of „Porsche Racing Academy“. And any racing lover can be a part of it.

The team trainer will be the well known Lithuanian racing driver Robertas Kupčikas. Along with learning, the team is going to participate in endurance races among Baltic countries driving with an eye-catching “Porsche Cayman GT4 Clubsport”.

During the team presentation R.Kupčikas expressed his joy to be a part of this initiative: “Porsche and the sportiness always come together. As a car racing lover, I am extremely happy with the start of this unique project. I am sure that with a motivation of the team we are going to reach incredible results and lots of valuable experience.”

Among the team members there is the lawyer Martynas Žilinskas, businessmen Arūnas Tuma and Mantas Janavičius. The “Porsche Racing Academy” plans to attend in racing events all over Baltics including Baltic Endurance Championship series taking place in Riga and Parnu.

An important part of the team – the “Porsche Cayman GT4 Clubsport” has quite a character. Team representatives told that some time is needed to get use to it as the car is the quickest version of “Cayman GT4” series made for racing. It has an atmospheric 3.8 litter 6 cylinders engine producing 385 horse power and 420 Nm torque. It can reach 100 km/h in 4.4 seconds and the top speed is 300 km/h. This 4.43 meters length monster weights 1300 kg .
