THE FIRST NORTH EUROPEAN ZONE 6H CUP IN RIGA

The first North European Zone 6H Endurance Cup will take place in Riga, during the Riga Summer Race event on August 18 – 19. Based on the large number of teams participating in Baltic Endurance Championship, NEZ Racing commission have approved the first NEZ 6H Cup race in Riga. The goal of this events is to evaluate the interest of the participants and make decision for the NEZ Championship statuss in the coming year.

“This is the first step towards complete NEZ Endurance Championship in the coming years. There are already 4 NEZ countries represented in the Baltic Endurance Championship and we see a good potential to grow the NEZ countries participating in NEZ Endurance series. We have received information from Finnish Federation that already 10 teams are getting redy for the first event in Riga,” tells Jānis Ducmanis, Latvian representative in NEZ Racing Comission.

In season 2017 Baltic Endurance Championship gathared 27 teams form Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia and Finland. The NEZ 6H Cup race in Riga Summer Race event will be a combined race also for BEC4H participants.
