IT’S TIME FOR THE THIRD ROUND OF BALTIC TOURING CAR CHAMPIONSHIP “DEWALT GRAND PRIX” IN BIKERNIEKI RACETRACK

After a long break this weekend on July 9 and 10 in legendary Bikernieki racetrack in Riga returns Baltic Touring Car Championship with „DeWalt Grand Prix” round. The only time this season in Riga will race NEZ Legend Cars among them the best Finnish and Swedish racers and also several home racers from Latvia. Riga event will be opened with a spectacular air show on Sunday lunch time.

78 racers from Baltic, Scandinavia, Belarus, Russia and Georgia will take part in the 3rd round of Baltic Touring Car Championship and 2nd round of NEZ Legend Car Championship. Especially important this race is for Latvian participants – they are ready to show their best performace in their home track.

One of the most awaited will certainly be the Legend Class. Ready to fight for podium finish are Latvian Legend drivers Konstantins Calko and Uldis Timaks, who showed great results week ago in Parnu round.

The most powerful class „Baltic Touring Cars” will be represented by 11 drivers, most of them Lithuanians, one Estonian and one Latvian driver.

Large number of participants have signed for Latvian Championship „Kumho Challenge” class – 10 participants will race in „National Class” and 10 will represent the „Super 1600” class.

In the third round of Baltic Touring Car Championship also returns Finnish and Estonian Championship for BMW 325 CUP/EXTREME class with 16 racers.
