DEWALT GRAND PRIX OPENING WITH AN IMPRESSIVE AIR SHOW OVER BIKERNIEKI RACETRACK

This weekend, July 10th, during the opening of Baltic Touring Car Championship 3rd round „DeWalt Grand Prix” spectators will be able to watch spectacular air show, where planes will execute aerobatic elements over Bikernieki track.

Air show will start at 12:00 p.m. on Sunday and it will last for half an hour. Three planes will take part in the air show – PITTS 12 Monster, AEROPRAKT-22 and ZODIAC CH 601 UL with pilots Aleksands Brincalovs, Konstantīns Bendrups and Mārtiņš Kapickis. The programm includes such tricks as „Barrel”, „Dead loop” and probably very dangerous but impressive element called „Bell”. Air show above Bikiernieki track is already a tradition – last year “Riga Summer Race” event was opened with air show executed by two planes.

More than 80 participants will take part in the 3rd round of Baltic Touring Car Championship „DeWalt Grand Prix” event. Participants are representing Baltic States, Georgia, Belarus, Russia and Northen European countries. During the event the place will take Baltic, Latvian, Lithuanian Touring Car Championships as well as Estonian and Finnish Championship and North European Zone Legend Car Championship.
